Tony Woodford (CEO)

An experienced project manager who has worked for years in the private sector, Tony was head-hunted for the C.E.O. role at the Nation Building Authority. A dedicated and professional leader, his patience is frequently tested as he deals with crises, u-turns, budget blow-outs and constant staff turn-over.

Nat Russell

Second in charge and Tony’s only true ally, Nat is a smart, decisive operator. Unfortunately, she is surrounded by support staff who are anything but. She is capable of steering any project or initiative, no matter how absurd.

Hugh McKay

Hugh’s job description includes Project Manager, Department Supervisor and Office Football Tipping Competition Co-ordinator (it’s an honorary position). Determined and diligent, but often one step behind the play, his role is to assist Nat.

Scott Byrnes

Assistant to the C.E.O., Scott is responsible for sitting in on meetings and offering advice. For him, this largely involves being late for meetings and needing advice yet his work ethic cannot be questioned.

Katie Norris

Personal Assistant to Tony, her job is to make sure his day is organised (a task she is incapable of managing for herself). Dedicated but easily distracted, Katie is in charge of personnel, time-tabling, meeting schedules and ensuring the muffins are gluten free.

Amy Kim

Receptionist and Office Manager, Amy is the first person clients meet when they enter the Nation Building Authority building. A sign reading “Director of First Impressions” is misspelled on her desk.

Jim Gibson

Our interface between the Government and the Nation Building Authority, Jim is directly answerable to his political masters. Endlessly enthusiastic, Jim is as willing to take on a new project as he is to abandon the previous one. His arrival tends to spell trouble for anyone forced to carry out one of his schemes.

Rhonda Stewart

When not attending international conferences or convening brainstorming sessions, Rhonda acts as Public Relations Manager to the NBA. The consummate multi-tasker (she can talk, text and drink coffee simultaneously) Rhonda is able to spot a media opportunity from a mile off. She last took a sick day in 1998.

Karsten Leith

That’s “Karsten” with a T, he is the N.B.A.’s go-to graphic designer. Artistic, passionate and verging on pointless, Karsten is a lover of long-winded ideation sessions. His involvement in a project can generally be guaranteed to add at least two months to its completion time – more if you want a mood board.
